The 91 COVID-19 cases confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) were recorded in eight states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Lagos, the epicentre of the virus accounted for 74 of the new cases; Katsina (five); Ogun (four); two in Delta and Edo states. Kwara, Oyo, Adamawa and the FCT have one case each. The new cases took the national tally to 873.
