YOUTHS and Sports Development Minister Sunday Dare has expressed deep regret and sadness on the death of three players of Rangers International of Enugu on Sunday in a ghastly motor accident.

Dare said in a statement on Monday that he was saddened by the news of the death of the Rangers’ striker along with two others after their car reportedly ran into an articulated vehicle along the Benin/Agbor road .

“The death of the three players last weekend is very sad and painful. These are youths whose future looked very bright and promising It is unfortunate that they died without attaining their full potentials. My heart goes out to their families ,friends and the club. May their souls rest in perfect peace.”

Dare said George’s death was one death too many following coming on the heels of the death of Tiamiyu Kazeem of Remo Stars and Chineme Martins of Nasarawa United, affirming they all made their marks on the sand of time.
